Untold story of a hero who rescued a monument which was very important for Poles. The film tells the story of Stanisław Żaryn, who took on the reconstruction of the Sigismund’s Column after the Second World War. Thanks to his ingenuity and cleverness, Warsaw’s unique symbol retained its pre-war shape, rather than the one envisioned by the communists.
