This competition exists since the first edition of the NNW Festival. Similarly to previous years, creators of Polish documentaries will compete for the Golden Resistor, an award given to the best film in the competition, as well as for the Janusz Krupski Award, awarded for bravery and hardship in searching for themes and characters which were unruly, undeterred and cursed (Niepokorni, Niezłomni, Wyklęci). Polish produced documentaries, realised between 2020-2022, no longer than 90 minutes, describing contemporary history of Poland can qualify for the competition.
The screening copies of the selected films should be submitted by the applicant in two formats: DCP and MP4 Full HD (1080p). If the applicant does not provide the required format, the film will not be admitted to the competition.
The final deadline for submissions expires on June 24th 2022.
