Story of the search for a young girl in a uniform whose black-and-white picture was stored in the archives of the Institute of National Remembrance. When the picture was shared on social media, thousands of people joined the search for the unidentified woman. After just two days, it turned out she was Maria Barr-Grabowska, the wife of an RAF pilot and the daughter of a member of the Supreme Commander’s staff.
