The tragic fate of Jews in the Second World War is still very much alive in the memories of the residents of Szydłów, who to this day recall what happened to their Jewish neighbours before, during and after the war. Neighbours, with whom they had very good relations. Priest Paweł Mazanka and his cousin Julia rescue the damaged Jewish cemetery and listen to the stories of the local residents on how they saved their friends.
