Wrocław, 1994. In one of the city’s bookstores, Wojciech Jaruzelski is promoting his latest novel Stan wojenny. Why? [Martial Law. Why?] At one point, Stanisław Helski shows up and hits him in the face with a rock. The incident is widely commented in the media, but not many people ask who the perpetrator was. Meanwhile, he was one of the leaders of the Farmers’ Solidarity, repressed by the communists.
