This is a documentary about a Polish family awarded by the Yad Vashem Institute with the Righteous Among Nations of the World medal. The main protagonist is Marianna Jarosz-Krasnodębska, from Piaski in the Lubelskie province. Before the war, Poles and Jews used to live in harmony there. After the Second World War broke out, the Germans gave the Piaski Jews a living hell.
