The action in the film takes place in the spring of 1986. At night, a statue of Saint Adalbert gets stolen from the Gniezno Cathedral. For Andrzej Baran, lieutenant of the Civic Militia, this case turns out to be the most difficult one he’s had to face in his career so far. Does someone want that mystery not to be solved? Or maybe the circumstances are extremely difficult?
