An attempt at chronologically showing the events which took place in Ponary, near Vilnius, in the years 1941-1944. We begin with the comparison of several similar crime scenes where the Germans, with the help of the local population, conducted acts of ethnic genocide. This approach to the subject, according to the authors, is meant to allow us to review the crime and the Lithuanians’ fault in a fair and unbiased way.
