The story of Mother Matylda Getter, a Franciscan nun, the initiator and main coordinator of the heroic act of saving Jewish children during the Second World War. The Franciscan Sisters of the Family of Mary, led by her, saved more than 500 children, providing them with a peaceful, family atmosphere and basic education in these cruel times.
