Lisów is a small village with a single road and a church on the hill. But in this remote area we can find the traces of centuries of Polish and European history. In the second half of the 20th century, the village was marked with the miraculous lack of damage to the church during an armoured battle in 1945, and the unity of its residents in 1986, when they defended crosses in a school from being taken down by the communists.
