Frankfurt, 1943. Filip is a typical cosmopolitan, a lady-killer incapable of any deeper affection. He lost his family in Poland. Now, living in Nazi Germany, he has to hide his Jewish origins. He works as a waiter in an exclusive hotel restaurant and enjoys a carefree life, surrounded by luxuries, beautiful women, and friends from all over Europe. But when the war starts taking its deadly toll on his loved ones, the fragile world he built for himself collapses like a house of cards.
