A film about a man who played an important role in Czech culture, politics and society. In the dramatic post-revolutionary days, Kocáb took part in the dialogue between the communist authorities and dissidents. Later, as a member of parliament, he supervised the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Czechoslovakia.
