Submissions for this year’s festival competitions are open until June 14.
We are looking for moving stories about the journey to freedom – both the grand, national kind, and the most personal one.
We invite filmmakers from around the world to submit feature and documentary films. We are also accepting radio reportages. The festival recognizes creators who can combine artistic sensibility with the power of storytelling – those whose films and reportages inspire reflection and touch the heart.
Submissions are accepted ONLINE on the festival’s website.
COMPETITION SECTIONS 18th NNW INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIWAL:
- International Feature Film Competition
- Feature productions, domestic and foreign, realised between 2021-2026
- International Documentary Competition
- Documentaries, foreign and domestic, realised between 2024-2026 no longer than 90 minutes
- Polish Documentary Competition
- Polish produced documentaries, realised between 2024-2026 no longer than 90 minutes
- Radio Report Competition
- Radio documentaries in Polish, realised between 2024-2026 no longer than 30 minutes

This year’s Festival is planned for October 1st–4th at the Gdynia Film Centre, the Naval Museum, and Plac Grunwaldzki.
Admission to all events is FREE — and we want to keep it that way. That is why we are asking for your support — from those who already know the NNW Festival, and from those who hold Memory and Freedom close to their hearts.
