The call for applications for the 2025 NNW Film Festival is open!
The recruitment of feature and documentary films from Poland and around the world, as well as Polish radio reports for this year’s festival competitions, is open until May 31. The 17th NNW International Film Festival will take place on October 2-5 in Gdynia.
The festival presents works showing various paths to freedom, both for nations and the individual freedom of each person, dedicated to the modern history of Poland and the world.
Applications are accepted ONLINE on the festival website, in the tabs of individual competitions.
To submit feature and documentary film as well as radio report for the Festival selection, you are required to fill out the online application form at www.festiwalnnw.pl, and click “SEND”.
COMPETITION SECTIONS 17th NNW INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIWAL:
International Feature Film Competition:
feature productions, domestic and foreign, realised between 2023-2025
International Documentary Film Competition:
documentaries, foreign and domestic, realised between 2023-2025 no longer than 90 minutes
Polish Documentary Competition:
polish produced documentaries, realised between 2023-2025 no longer than 90 minutes
Radio Reportage Competition:
radio documentaries in Polish, realised between 2023-2025 no longer than 30 minutes

THE FINAL DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS MAY 31, 2025
The results of the Festival selection is planned to be announced by the end of July, 2025. The results will be posted online at www.festiwalnnw.pl
The NNW Film Festival is free of charge and open to everyone.
