Polish Film Competition

This competition exists since the first edition of the NNW Festival. Similarly to previous years, creators of Polish documentaries will compete for the Golden Resistor, an award given to the best film in the competition, as well as for the Janusz Krupski Award, awarded for bravery and hardship in searching for themes and characters which were unruly, undeterred and cursed (Niepokorni, Niezłomni, Wyklęci).

Polish produced documentaries, realised between 2019-2021, no longer than 90 minutes, describing contemporary history of Poland can qualify for the competition.

Submitting a film for participation in the Festival is synonymous with accepting the hereby Terms.

The final deadline for submissions expires on June 25th 2021.

Selection results will be announced by July 26th 2021.

The applicant will be obliged to provide screening copies of the qualified films in two formats: in the DCP format and MP4 Full HD (1080p). If the applying author does not deliver a screening copies in a required formats, the film will not be admitted to the competition.
